AfyaIndex uses a session cookie, CSRF protection, authentication state, and security-related browser storage so pages, login, forms, and account protection work. These are necessary to provide the service.
2. Guest lookup control
A durable device identifier helps enforce the free daily lookup allowance and prevent abuse. It is not intended to identify a patient or store medicine content.
3. Preferences
Local browser storage may remember workspace navigation state and interface preferences. Clearing site data resets these choices.
4. Measurement
AfyaIndex may record limited first-party product events such as viewing pricing or starting checkout. Free-form clinical search terms and contact details should not be sent as analytics event properties. If optional third-party analytics or advertising cookies are introduced, this notice and the consent controls must be updated before they are enabled.
5. Your controls
You can remove or block cookies in browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, secure form submission, saved preferences, or guest-limit enforcement from working correctly.
