What it is used for
Therapeutic use is agent- and indication-specific within the class (Vaccine / immunological product). Use according to culture results, national guidelines (Kenya STG/EML where applicable) and the current product SmPC.
Warnings
Observe 15 minutes post-dose if high anaphylaxis concern. Correct injection technique and site. Report AEFI via national systems.
Possible side effects
Local pain, low-grade fever, myalgia. Serious: anaphylaxis, vaccine-specific rare events (e.g. intussusception historically with some rotavirus products).
Storage
Store as labelled. Keep out of reach of children.
