Warnings

Elderly; bodyweight less than 50 kg; recent surgery; anaesthesia with postopera- tive indwelling epidural catheter [risk of paralysisgive initial dose at least 2 hours after catheter removal and monitor neurological signs]; bacterial endocarditis [increased risk of bleed- ing]; bleeding disorders; active gastrointestinal ulceration; concomitant use of drugs that increase risk of bleeding.
